The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported that a Palestinian child was killed, and at least eleven Palestinians have been injured after the Israeli army continued its bombardment of Gaza on Friday. The Ministry said Ibrahim Zoheir ad-Dawawsa, 10 years of age, was killed after the army bombarded a mosque, where families took shelter, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

Several Palestinians have also been wounded in different Israeli bombardment, and strikes, targeting different parts of the coastal region.

Earlier on Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon instructed the army to “remain ready for possible escalation in the offensive in Gaza, especially after talks on extended temporary truce have failed.

Ya’alon instructed the army to “respond with all needed power” to what he called “Palestinian attacks from Gaza”. He said the army is currently weighing its next move.
