Palestinian medical sources have reported that a child was shot and injured in her head, by an Israeli rubber-coated metal bullet, while her grandfather was driving her home near the Shu’fat military roadblock, north of occupied East Jerusalem.The sources said that the child, Mayar Omran Nastha, 10, suffered a skull fracture, and was moved to the Hadassah Israeli hospital in Jerusalem.
The bullet smashed the car front shield and lodged in the child’s skull; her father is a political prisoner held by Israel.
She was in her grandfather’s car along with her younger brother Hasan, and her younger sister Ebtesam.
