Israeli Navy ships opened fire, on Friday morning, on a number of Palestinian fishing boats, approximately 4 nautical miles away from the Gaza shore.The Palestinian News & Info Agency (WAFA) said the navy ships opened fire on the navy boats, in the Gaza Sea, forcing the fishers back to shore, to avoid further fire.
The attack is part of daily violations against the fishers in the besieged and impoverished coastal region.
Similar attacks are frequently carried out against farmers in their lands, close to the border fence.
