Israeli soldiers, stationed on the Container Roadblock, north of Bethlehem, assaulted on Tuesday evening a former Palestinian political prisoner, and kidnapped him before taking him to an unknown destination.Eyewitnesses said the soldiers stopped and searched dozens of cars, and assaulted Hatem Ibrahim Shadeed, 34 years of age, before kidnapping him. The Palestinian suffered various cuts and bruises.
Shadeed is from Doura, south of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and is a former political prisoner who spend several years in Israeli prisons and detention centers.
