Israeli forces, Thursday morning, demolished two homes and seized a shipping container in the eastern outskirts of Bethlehem, said a municipal source.WAFA Palestinian News & Info Agency reports that military vehicles, escorting a bulldozer, broke into Harmala locality, near Taqu village, to the southeast of the city, where they demolished a house under construction belonging to Muhammad Dabash purportedly for unlicensed building, Mayor Aiad Ali said.
Forces also raided Taqu village, where they escorted a bulldozer which demolished a house under construction, and belonging to a local identified as one Mousa Salim Hasan.
Israeli soldiers also raided Za‘tara town, to the south east of the city, where they tore down the exterior wall of a house belonging to Khalaf al-Himri.
They seized a shipping container, which the owner used for selling construction materials, according to Za‘tara mayor Ahmad Rashid. He added that the owner, apparently al-Himri himself, was asked to pay the costs of demolition.
