Palestinian medical sources have reported that two young men were injured, on Thursday at dawn, after Israeli soldiers invaded the al-Am’ari refugee camp, in the central West Bank district of Ramallah.The sources said the two young men were shot with rubber-coated metal bullets, while many Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
Local sources said clashes took place in the refugee camp as dozens of youths hurled stones, empty bottles and several Molotov cocktails on the invading soldiers.
The army fired live rounds, rubber-coated metal bullets, gas bombs and concussion grenades, also targeting homes in the camp, and nearby neighborhoods.
Many residents, including children, suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, and received treatment by local medics.
