Israeli soldiers shot and killed, on Monday afternoon, a Palestinian child, 13 years of age, near the main entrance of ‘Aida refugee camp, north of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank. Abdul-Rahman Obeidallah, was shot with a live round in the chest, and died of his serious wounds shortly after being moved to Bethlehem governmental hospital.

The slain child was walking back home from school when the fatal Israeli round struck him. Medical sources said the child was short directly in the heart, by a sniper Israeli army fire. Two more civilians were injured in the clashes with Israeli live gunfire and were moved to hospital, medical sources reported.

After the announcement of Obeidallah’s death, residents marched in protest from the hospital to the northern entrance of Bethlehem city.

Soldiers attacked protesters with live gunfire and tear gas; as a result, three more civilians were injured and moved to hospital. Obeidallah is the fourth Palestinian to be killed by Israeli troops’ gunfire in lest than 48

hours. On Monday at dawn Hotheifa Suleiman, 18 years of age, died of a serious injury he suffered earlier when Israeli soldiers shot him in the abdomen, during clashes that took place near the Nitzani roadblock, west of the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem.

On Sunday at dawn, Israeli soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian teenager in the al-Misrara area, in Bab al-Amoud in occupied east Jerusalem. On Sunday midday, the Israeli Police killed a Palestinian teen after he allegedly stabbed to death an armed Israeli, then grabbed the gun of a settler who intervened and killed an additional person and wounded two others in the Old City of Jerusalem.

On Monday clashes between invading Israeli troops and local youth were reported all over the West Bank. in Hebron city clashes took place in the old city, many residents were injured including a local journalist.

In northern West Bank Israeli settlers stoned Palestinian cars near Howara Israeli military checkpoint. A number of cars were damaged but no injuries.

The recent escalation started last week as Israeli settlers continued their assaults on Palestinians inside Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem old city. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society at least 200 Palestinian civilians were injured by Israeli troops gunfire since Sunday during clashes in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

In the Gaza Strip on Monday, Israeli navy boats attacked, Palestinian fishing boats near the Gaza city shore, and kidnapped two fishers. Earlier at dawn, the Israeli Air Force fired missile into a site run by the Al-Qassam Brigades, causing excessive damage but no injuries.
