Israeli forces, Sunday afternoon, opened fire on a Palestinian girl after they claimed she initiated a stab attempt near the container checkpoint, Hebron.Eyewitnesses said that the girl, unidentified as of yet, according to the PNN,, was hit by a rubber-coated metal bullet, sustained serious head injuries, and was then taken into custody.
Al-Hurriya network reported that, according to witnesses, some youths at the scene tried to rescue the girl when soldiers immediately opened fire on them in return. Two were injured and immediately rushed to hospital for treatment.
No injuries on the Israeli side were reported.
