Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of wide‑ranging invasions across the occupied West Bank on Sunday, breaking into homes, installing military roadblocks, and abducting several Palestinians in operations that extended from Ramallah in the central West Bank to Nablus in the northern West Bank, Hebron in the southern West Bank, and occupied Jerusalem.
In Ramallah in the central West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the town of Kober northwest of the city, where soldiers broke into several homes, searched them, and damaged their contents before abducting a young man, Waad al‑Barghouthi, and transferring him to an undisclosed location.
Additional invasions were reported in the nearby towns of Sinjil, Abu Falah, and Abwein, accompanied by military patrols and the installation of temporary military roadblocks where soldiers stopped residents and inspected their identification cards.
Earlier, Israeli forces installed a military roadblock at Ein Siniya, north of Ramallah, blocking vehicles attempting to leave the city.
Local sources reported that soldiers closed the iron gate at the site and prevented traffic from passing. Another military roadblock was previously installed at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, also north of Ramallah.
In Salfit in the central West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the city at dawn, broke into the home of Kamel Dahdoul, searched it, and abducted him before withdrawing.
In Nablus in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted two Palestinians from inside a vehicle in the town of Beit Iba west of the city.
Military jeeps invaded the town, intercepted a vehicle, and abducted two passengers, one of whom was identified as Jihad Nader Ahmad Khaled from al‑Ein refugee camp west of Nablus.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces invaded the town of Burqa northwest of Nablus, broke into several homes, searched them, and vandalized their contents before confiscating a mobile phone from one of the houses.
Soldiers also invaded the town of Beita, southeast of Nablus, and assaulted a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance crew while they were carrying out their duties.
In Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted Ali Nabil Jibril, 32, from the town of Doha west of the city after breaking into his home and searching it.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces abducted three young men, including two brothers from the town of Anata, in addition to another young man from al‑‘Eizariya, after invading their homes and searching them.
In Hebron in the southern West Bank, a Palestinian man was shot with live ammunition near the Israeli‑built illegal Annexation Wall in the area of Beit Ula; his condition was described as moderate.
Israeli forces also abducted former political prisoner Mousa Ali al‑Adam after invading his home Khursa village, west of Hebron, where soldiers broke into the house and damaged its contents.
During the invasion, the soldiers stormed the home of Mohammad Abu Jalal and repeatedly assaulted him while ransacking his property before Palestinian medics transferred him to a hospital.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces detained and assaulted several young men near the entrance to the town of Bani Na’im east of Hebron.
