Israeli soldiers injured several Palestinians during protests that took place after the funeral procession of a slain young man in the al-Kader town, south of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said the protests took place in the Old City area of Al-Khader after the soldiers invaded it.

They added that the soldiers fired many gas bombs and rubber-coated steel bullets, causing several Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

The protests took place after the funeral ceremony of Mohammad Ali Ghneim, 20, who died from serious wounds he suffered Sunday after the soldiers shot and seriously injured him.
