Israeli paramilitary colonizers killed a Palestinian man, on Wednesday, after invading the village of Douma, southeast of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that the young man, Thameen Khalil Reda Dawabsheh, 35, was shot and killed by illegal Israeli settlers during a settler incursion into Douma village.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PCHR) reported that their ambulance crews transported a seriously wounded young man after he was shot with live ammunition by invading colonizers.
According to Suleiman Dawabsheh, the head of the Douma Village Council, a group of armed Israeli settlers invaded the southern part of the village and opened fire with live rounds at Palestinian citizens who attempted to confront them.
Dawabsheh added that for the past several days, Israeli colonizers have continued to carry out land razing operations on Palestinian lands in the area.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reported that Israeli colonizers have killed 42 Palestinians since the beginning of the ongoing Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, including 10 who were killed this year.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday evening, large crowds of Palestinians gathered in front of the Rafidia Governmental Hospital in Nablus to mourn the death of the young Dawabsheh.
Media sources said that after receiving the body of the slain man, mourners proceeded to his home in Douma village where his family viewed his body before burying him in the village cemetery.
Suleiman Dawabsheh, the head of the Douma Village Council reported that Israeli forces invaded the village after the funeral, closing its only entrance and obstructing the movement of Palestinians.
It is important to mention that the colonizer responsible for executing Dawabsheh was identified as an off-duty Israeli soldier and that the army provided protection for the attacking settlers, according to the Arab 48 news website.
The same source added that dozens of Palestinians resisted the settler incursion, by throwing stones at them, resulting in the mild injury of two settlers.
For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates denounced settlers’ execution of the young man, Dawabsheh, labeling the attack as a premeditated and deliberate crime.
The Ministry expressed its grave concern over the serious escalation of terroristic attacks carried out by illegal Israeli colonizers against Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank.
Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces and colonizers have killed 195 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 37 children and 6 women.
Occupation forces have killed 67 Palestinians in Jenin, 35 in Nablus, 27 in Tubas, 17 in Tulkarem, 15 in Hebron, 12 in Ramallah, 9 in Bethlehem, 5 in Jerusalem, 4 in Qalqilia, 3 in Salfit, and 1 in Jericho.
In the Gaza Strip, the overall death toll since October 7, 2023 has increased to 61,722 including women and children, while at least 154,525 Palestinians have sustained various degrees of injuries as a result of Israel’s military onslaught.
