On Friday, Israeli occupation forces invaded the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part and abducted a Palestinian from his home. The soldiers also installed roadblocks while paramilitary colonizers continued the violations across the governorate.
Media sources said the soldiers abducted 26-year-old Palestinian youth Muhannad Zuhair Al-Alami after storming his home and ransacking its contents.
The abduction is part of broader military invasions and violations in various towns and refugee camps across Hebron governorate.
Israeli troops invaded multiple homes in Hebron city and the nearby town of Doura, targeting properties belonging to the Abu Zneid, Namoura, Qazzaz, Fasfous, Qawamsa, and Ekhlayyil families.
The soldiers also installed military roadblocks at the entrances to Hebron’s towns, villages, and refugee camps, and sealed off several main and secondary roads using iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
In a related development, anti-colonization activist Osama Makhama stated that illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers have been conducting excavation work for several days in the “Ekhlal Al-Adra” area of Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
The digging is part of ongoing efforts to expand colonialist infrastructure in the region, which has been under threat of forced displacement and land confiscation.
These actions reflect Israel’s intensifying campaign of territorial control and demographic engineering in the southern West Bank, where military invasions, abductions, and colonialist expansion continue to escalate.
In related news, illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers invaded Al-Himma Bedouin community, in the northern plains, and gathered near the water spring the locals use.
The area is subject to frequent colonizer violations as part of their attempt to control the water spring near the villagers’ dwellings.
In the early hours of Friday, Israeli occupation forces invaded the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank’s central part and opened fire on a group of Palestinian youths, injuring one, in addition to occupying one home.
