On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers abducted a Palestinian shepherd in Qarawat Bani Hassan town, west of Salfit, in the central part of the occupied West Bank.
The Mayor of Qarawat Bani Hassan, Ibrahim Aasi, said the soldiers invaded the eastern area of the town and abducted a shepherd, Ali Fawzat Rayyan.
Aasi added that the army claimed the shepherd was herding his sheep near the illegal Kiryat Netavim colony, built on stolen Palestinian lands.
He also said that the soldiers and the paramilitary colonizers have escalated their violations against the Palestinians and their lands amidst plans to annex the lands and build a new colony illegally.
Also, the soldiers abducted two young Palestinian men in Silwan town and assaulted several Palestinians in the Shu’fat refugee camp in occupied Jerusalem.
In related news, the soldiers demolished a car repair facility in Shu’fat town, northeast of Jerusalem.
On Wednesday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded and searched dozens of homes across the occupied West Bank and abducted twenty Palestinians, including siblings and one child.
