On Monday, Israeli soldiers abducted eight Palestinians, including two children, in several parts of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.
Mohammad Mahmoud, a lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center In Silwan (Silwanic), said the soldiers abducted two children, Yazan al-Majed and Mo’taz Marqasto, from the al-Wad Street in the Old City.
Mahmoud added that the soldiers also abducted Mahmoud Siyam and a young woman, from other parts of the West Bank, for entering Jerusalem without permits. The two Palestinians came to Jerusalem to pray in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The soldiers also abducted a woman, Suad Obeydiyya, from the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In the Shu’fat refugee camp, northeast of Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Ala’ al-Jolani and Ahmad Sheikh Ali.
In Abu Dis town, east of Jerusalem, the soldiers assaulted and injured a young man, Daoud Omar Qureia’, before abducting him.
The soldiers also invaded the Abu Tayeh and Ein al-Louza neighborhoods in Silwan, installed roadblocks, and fired gas bombs at Palestinians who protested the invasion.
Earlier Monday, the soldiers abducted a young man, Khaled Melhis, after storming and searching his home in the Bab Huta area in the Old City.
In the Gaza Strip, the soldiers abducted two Palestinians east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the coastal region.
On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded many communities across the occupied West Bank, searched and ransacked dozens of homes before abducting nine Palestinians, and wounding two others.
