On Friday, Israeli forces injured a Palestinian child and abducted eight young men in the northern West Bank governorate of Nablus.
After invading the town of Salem, east of Nablus, Israeli forces fired concussion grenades and tear gas canisters at Palestinians who resisted the incursion.
Media sources said that a 17-year-old child sustained fractures by unknown means during the army’s invasion of the town.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces invaded the town of Beita, south of Nablus, and suppressed an anti-settlement protest, hurling concussion grenades and tear gas canisters at the peaceful demonstrators.
Local Palestinians protested the attack on the citizens of Beita who want to denounce the Israeli authorities’ decision to legalizing the illegal “Avitar” outpost, built on citizens’ lands in Jabal Sabih in the town.
Media sources said a large army force stormed, at dawn, the New Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus, and abducted six members of the same family.
Media sources said they are all members of the Habroun family; Izz Hussein Saber, Hussein Saber, Baraa Hussein, Hisham Bassam, Hussam Saber, and Adi Hussein.
Soldiers fired live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades, sparking protests in the vicinity of the New Askar camp.
Sources added that the soldiers abducted the citizen, Aed Ghassan Kaabi from Jerusalem Street, east of the city.
In the afternoon, occupation forces abducted the young man, Musab Jabroun, at the Awarta military roadblock, south of Nablus.
