On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted eleven Palestinians in the Hebron Governorate, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.

Media sources said several military vehicles invaded Beit Awwa town, southwest of Hebron, before the soldiers stormed and ransacked many homes, and abducted six Palestinians.

The sources said the soldiers abducted Beit Awwa Town Council member Ahmad Ibrahim Masalma, in addition to Yousef Hasan Masalma, Bajes Mohammad Sweity, Abdul-Aziz Sweity, Ismael Mohammad Sweity, and Karram Mohammad Masalma, after storming their homes and violently searching them.

The soldiers also invaded Surif town, northwest of Hebron, searched homes, and abducted Ibrahim Akwanin and his brother Na’im.

In addition, the soldiers abducted Abdul Aziz Abu Sheikah from Karma village, south of Hebron, Sobhi Mohammad Shallash, 60, from Doura town, south of Hebron, and Bassel Ayed Wazwaz from his home in Hebron city.

The soldiers also invaded Doura town, southwest of Hebron, twice overnight and at dawn, and installed roadblocks.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers also increased the restrictions on main entrances and streets leading to villages, towns, and refugee camps in Hebron, and around Hebron city, while escalating the restrictions in the Old City.
