On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted at least five Palestinians, detained and interrogated many residents in the Hebron governorate in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
The soldiers abducted four Palestinians from Sa’ir town, east of Hebron, and invaded the Al-Arroub refugee camp to the north, detaining many Palestinians during violent searches of homes.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded Sa’ir town, stormed and ransacked many homes, and abducted Abdullah Abu Aisha Al-Mutawwar, Omar Mustafa Shalalda, Mohammad Diyab At-Tarawa, and Ibrahim Abu Shanab.
In Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, the soldiers assaulted and injured Ahmad Samir Abu Ayyash, in his home, before abducting him.
Additionally, the soldiers invaded Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, searched several homes, and detained Hudhaifa Youssef Jawabra (child), Mohammad Fathi Shahada, Nasser Shahada, and his son, Ahmad. They were interrogated for a few hours before being released.
The army continues to close the entrances to towns and refugee camps in Hebron Governorate and the entrances to the city of Hebron with iron gates, intensifying the restrictions in the Old City and at military roadblocks, including the areas around the Ibrahimi Mosque.
