In the early hours of Friday, Israeli occupation forces invaded the village of Kafr Ni’ma, west of Ramallah in the central part of the occupied West Bank and abducted the mother and brother of slain Palestinian Mohammad Shtayyeh.
Media sources confirmed that Israeli troops stormed the family home and abducted Aziza Shtayyeh, an elderly woman and mother of the slain man, along with her son Bassam, following a search of the premises.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health had announced Thursday evening that Mohammad Ali Youssef Shtayyeh, 37, was fatally shot by Israeli forces near the village of Beit Ur al-Fauqa, also west of Ramallah. His body remains in Israeli custody.
Media sources reported that occupation forces opened heavy fire towards a civilian vehicle near the Beit Ur al-Fauqa military roadblock, west of Ramallah, shooting two young men in the vehicle, killing Mohammad, and abducting another.
In related news, Israeli soldiers invaded the Northern Mountain area in Nablus city, in northern West Bank, and abducted Rami Nasser after storming his home and ransacking it.
Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces and colonizers have killed 213 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 39 children and 6 women.
Occupation forces have killed 71 Palestinians in Jenin, 38 in Nablus, 29 in Tubas, 17 in Tulkarem, 16 in Hebron, 16 in Ramallah, 9 in Bethlehem, 7 in Jerusalem, 6 in Qalqilia, 3 in Salfit, and 1 in Jericho, according to the Shireen Observatory.
