Israeli soldiers and police officers abducted, on Thursday evening, nine Palestinian women from Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, while heading back to their homes after praying in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in occupied Jerusalem.

Media sources said the nine women went to Jerusalem to pray in Al-Aqsa and were stopped at a military roadblock while heading back home.

They added that the nine women were stopped by the soldiers, who detained them for a few hours at the roadblock, before abducting them and taking them to an interrogation facility, for “not carrying permits to enter Jerusalem.”
