On Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces abducted three sisters who are also teachers from Beit Kahil, northwest of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
Media sources reported that the Israeli forces invaded Beit Kahil and abducted the sisters, Eman, Afnan, and Inas Abdul-Mahdi Zohour, after storming and searching their homes.
Their father stated that Eman’s husband and son were recently abducted and are detained in “Nafha” and “Ofer” prisons. He added that Afnan has an infant child. The three sisters are also teachers.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces detained many citizens at a military roadblock at the entrance of Al-Arroub camp, north of Hebron.
Men and women were lined up, their IDs photographed, and their bags searched before being allowed to pass through the closed gate and cross the roadblock to the main street. Women were also photographed while raising their IDs to the soldiers at the roadblock.
In Bethlehem, the army invaded the Al-Khader town, south of the city and closed several streets, especially in the Old City, Al-Bawwaba and the Bige Mosque, before firing concussion grenades.
On Wednesday morning, dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded Arraba town, south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, ransacked dozens of homes, and abducted many Palestinians.
On Wednesday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted two Palestinians from their homes in Nablus and Balata refugee camp, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
In addition, Israeli occupation forces have continued their assault on the city of Tulkarem and Tulkarem refugee camp for the 45th consecutive day, and the 32nd day on Nur Shams refugee camp, in the occupied West Bank’s northwestern part, amid unprecedented military escalation.
The Israeli army has now killed 865 Palestinians, including 180 children: 240 in Jenin, 197 in Tulkarem, 97 in Nablus, 77 in Hebron, 72 in Tubas, 59 in Ramallah, 33 in Qalqilia, 31 in Jerusalem suburbs, 20 in Jerusalem, 4 in Salfit, and 12 in Jericho and the Northern Plains.
In the Gaza Strip, Israel has now killed at least 48,503 Palestinians, including more than 17,881 children and 12,298 women, and injured more than 111,927, mostly children and women. Additionally, thousands of Palestinians are missing, largely under the rubble, in various parts of the devastated coastal enclave since October 7, 2023.
