On Thursday morning, Israeli soldiers invaded the Deheishe refugee camp south of Bethlehem, searched several homes, and abducted two Palestinians in addition to shooting another during ensuing protests.
Media sources said several army jeeps invaded the refugee camp, leading to protests before the soldiers fired several live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
They added that the soldiers shot a young man with a live bullet in the leg before the medics rushed him to a hospital in Bethlehem.
The soldiers also stormed and ransacked several homes in the refugee camp before abducting Odai Hasan Hammash, 29, and Mohammad Nidal Abu Aker, 26.
In related news, the soldiers invaded Jaba’ town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, stormed, and ransacked many homes before abducting six Palestinians, including four siblings.
