On Sunday, Israeli soldiers abducted two Palestinian siblings in the Al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas, in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part.
Kamal Bani Odah, the head of the Tubas office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), reported that undercover Israeli soldiers infiltrated the refugee camp before storming a home.
Bani Odah added that the soldiers ransacked the property before abducting two siblings, Mohammad and Abdul-Rahman Sobeh.
Furthermore, several Israeli military jeeps invaded the refugee camp, where soldiers conducted home searches, detained several Palestinians, and inspected their ID cards while interrogating them.
In occupied Jerusalem, the army abducted a Palestinian father in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank, just a few days after the army abducted his daughter. The soldiers also abducted five Palestinian children in Al-‘Isawiya, in Jerusalem.
Also Sunday, Israeli soldiers injured a Palestinian and abducted two others, including a child, in Jerusalem.
In addition, Israeli forces tightened their military procedures at the Beit Furik military roadblock, east of Nablus, and the Al-Marba’a roadblock to the south, in the northern West Bank.
Eyewitnesses reported that the soldiers intensified their measures at the roadblocks, conducting searches and identity checks on citizens, causing severe traffic congestion.
Nablus continues to witness the closure of many Israeli military roadblocks surrounding it, while the Israeli forces continue to prevent citizens from passing through the main Huwwara roadblock, south of Nablus, road since October 7, 2023.
