On Sunday evening, Israeli soldiers shot two young Palestinian men in Ethna town, west of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
Eyewitnesses stated that the soldiers opened fire at Palestinians on their land near the illegal Annexation Wall in the western area of the town.
Medical sources said the soldiers shot the two young men before later handing them to Palestinian Red Crescent Society medics who rushed them to a hospital.
The medical supervisor at the Al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron said the soldiers shot Saddam Mohammad Badawi Tmeizi with a live round in the abdomen, and Mohammad Akram Al-Masri, 32, in the legs.
Badawi stated that Tmeizi was moved to surgery at the medical facility while Al-Masri was transferred to the Al-Mezan Hospital.
In related news, the army invaded Husan, west of Bethlehem, and fired gas bombs at Palestinians in the Al-Matina and ash-Sharfa areas in the eastern parts of the village, causing many citizens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
Local sources said the soldiers fired the gas bombs at dozens of Palestinians heading to a local mosque for evening prayers. In addition, the soldiers invaded Nabi Saleh village, northwest of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and closed several streets.
Also, Israeli soldiers abducted two Palestinian siblings in the Al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas, in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part.
In occupied Jerusalem, the army abducted a Palestinian father in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank, just a few days after the army abducted his daughter. The soldiers also abducted five Palestinian children in Al-‘Isawiya, in Jerusalem.
In addition, the soldiers injured a Palestinian and abducted two others, including a child, in Jerusalem.
