The Israeli occupation army continues its aggression on Tulkarem city and the Tulkarem refugee camp in the occupied West Bank’s northwestern part for the fifth consecutive day, causing extensive damage to public and private properties and infrastructure, and demolishing homes.
Early Friday, Israeli soldiers abducted five young men after besieging two houses in the city, amidst heavy gunfire and intense low-altitude reconnaissance flights.
Media sources reported that an Israeli army unit surrounded a house in the Engineers’ Housing between the Shweika and Ektaba neighborhoods east of the city, demanding through loudspeakers that those inside surrender. At the same time, a special Israeli army unit, supported by military vehicles, surrounded another house in the southern neighborhood of the city.

Simultaneously, the army deployed patrols extensively in various neighborhoods of Tulkarem, specifically the western neighborhood and Jamal Abdel Nasser Square in the city center, continuing to seize commercial buildings and turning them into military barracks and sniper positions.
The Israeli army also continues to besiege the Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital and the Al-Israa Specialist Hospital, seizing high-rise commercial buildings surrounding them, obstructing the work of ambulances and medical teams, and subjecting them to searches and field investigations.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army continued the demolition of homes inside the besieged neighborhoods of Tulkarem refugee camp for the fifth consecutive day, after forcing residents to evacuate. Explosions are heard intermittently in the camp due to demolition activities, and tarpaulins in the neighborhoods are being set on fire.
On Wednesday night, Israeli occupation soldiers detonated homes and a warehouse in Tulkarem refugee camp.
On Tuesday, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian young man in the Irtah suburb, south of Tulkarem, and injured three others, including a child during their military incursion into Tulkarem city and the Tulkarem refugee camp.
