Israeli occupation forces invaded the Be’er al‑Me‘yar area east of the town of Tammun, south of Tubas in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part, on Monday and destroyed several water transmission lines.

Motaz Bisharat, the official in charge of the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission in the Tubas governorate, said Israeli soldiers accompanied a military bulldozer into the area and demolished the water lines that supply Palestinian communities.

Bisharat added that Israeli forces have been carrying out ongoing bulldozing operations in Palestinian‑owned lands in the area as part of a plan to carve out a colonial road approximately 22 kilometers long.

The road would extend from the Ein Shibli military roadblock east of Nablus, heading north toward the Tayasir military roadblock east of Tubas, passing through the village of Atouf.

Israeli bulldozing and infrastructure destruction in the occupied West Bank are part of a broader pattern aimed at restricting Palestinian access to land and resources.

According to the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission, Israeli authorities carried out 538 demolition operations in 2025, destroying 1,400 Palestinian structures, including homes, agricultural facilities, and water systems.

In 2026, the trend has continued, with dozens of demolitions documented in January alone, alongside widespread bulldozing in agricultural areas, the expansion of colonies by illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers, and the tightening of movement through military roadblocks across the occupied West Bank.
