Israeli occupation forces carried out numerous invasions across the occupied West Bank on Thursday, targeting towns, cities, and refugee camps in several districts while abducting Palestinians, including children, blocking movement, and intensifying home break‑ins and military operations.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli occupation forces invaded the towns of Silwan south of Al‑Aqsa Mosque, Bir Nabala in the northwestern part of the city, and the Ras Shehada neighborhood in the town of Anata to the east.
In a separate incident, the forces abducted a young man from the industrial area of Wadi al‑Joz in central occupied Jerusalem after surrounding his vehicle while he was with his family.
Witnesses said the soldiers fired a stun grenade to disperse residents and pointed their weapons at the family during the abduction.
In Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Israeli occupation forces invaded Bethlehem city, Beit Jala, and the towns of Al‑Khader, Beit Fajjar, Al‑Ubeidiya, Za’tara, Dar Salah, and Ash‑Shawawra.
Soldiers broke into homes and abducted Maher Awni Taqatqa, 42, along with his two children, Awni, 10, who suffers from a skull fracture, and Shahir, 12, after searching their home.
In addition, Israeli occupation forces installed a military roadblock at Aqabat Hasna, the main entrance to the western Bethlehem villages of Battir, Nahalin, Husan, and Wadi Fukin, where soldiers stopped vehicles, searched them, examined the IDs of residents entering the area, and prevented vehicles from exiting.
In Jenin in the northern West Bank, Israeli occupation forces invaded the town of Burqin west of the city, broke into several homes, and abducted and detained a number of residents before withdrawing.
In Hebron in the southern West Bank, Israeli occupation forces abducted six Palestinians, including an attorney, during widespread invasions.
In Beit Ummar north of Hebron, soldiers broke into dozens of homes, searched them, and vandalized their contents before abducting Osama Imad Ekhlayyel, 29, and Ali Mohammad Ekhlayyel, 30.
In Ethna west of Hebron, the forces abducted Tamer Zahir Abu Jheisha and Ahmad Awawda after breaking into and searching their homes.
The forces also invaded Doura and Deir Samit southwest of Hebron, where they broke into homes, caused extensive damage, and abducted attorney Sara Abu Saleh and municipal election candidate Atef Awwawda.
In Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli occupation forces abducted two siblings, Rami and Omar Al‑Shami, after breaking into their home in the eastern neighborhood of the city.
In Nablus in the northern West Bank, Israeli occupation forces invaded the Ras al‑Ein neighborhood, broke into a home, searched it, and interrogated its residents without reporting abductions.
The forces also invaded the nearby village of Surra to the west, breaking into several homes and searching them.
In addition, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers established a new colonial outpost adjacent to a Palestinian home on the outskirts of Burin south of Nablus.
In the northeastern West Bank, Israeli occupation forces prevented dozens of teachers from reaching schools in the northern Jordan Valley after blocking movement at the Tayasir military roadblock.
Tubas Education Director Azmi Balawna stated that the soldiers stopped approximately one hundred teachers from accessing schools in the villages of the northern Jordan Valley.
He added that the forces obstructed their movement for an extended period before closing the military roadblock entirely, forcing the teachers to turn back and preventing them from reaching their workplaces.
Colonizer attacks escalated alongside the military operations; groups of colonizers invaded Khirbet al‑Fakhit in Masafer Yatta south of Hebron and carried out provocative patrols in the Al‑Atmawiya community in the central Jordan Valley.
These developments come amid ongoing daily invasions, widespread abductions, movement restrictions, and a continued rise in colonizer violence across the occupied West Bank.
