On Friday, Israeli soldiers injured many Palestinians in Kufur Qaddoum town, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia.

Morad Eshteiwi, the media coordinator in Qalqilia, said the Palestinian marched in the weekly procession carrying Palestinian flags and calling for unity among the Palestinians and their factions.

He added that the soldiers attacked the nonviolent procession with rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

Four Palestinians were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets, and many suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation before Red Crescent medics provided them with the needed treatment.

The Israeli gas bombs and concussion grenades also led to a fire in an olive orchard before the locals managed to extinguish it.

Eshteiwi stated that the Palestinians called for countering all Israeli measures and colonialist activities, especially the recent calls by illegal colonizers to hold a flags procession in the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, including in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Palestinians have been holding weekly processions in Kufur Qaddoum for the last eighteen years, demanding the army to reopen the village’s main road the soldiers blockaded to allow easy access to the illegal colonizers driving to and from Kedumim illegal colony built on stolen Palestinian lands.
