On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers invaded Artas village, south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, injured many Palestinians during ensuing protests, and attacked journalists.
Media sources said several military jeeps invaded the village, especially the Zahiya Junction, before storming and ransacking homes and deploying sharpshooters on some rooftops.
The sources added that many Palestinians protested the invasion and the violations before the soldiers fired live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
Medical sources have confirmed that many Palestinians, including those in their homes, suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the soldiers stopped its ambulances and prevented the medics from reaching wounding Palestinians.
Also, the soldiers assaulted two journalists, Hisham Abu Shaqra and Abdul-Rahman Younis, and confiscated their cameras, in addition to confiscating the mobile phone of another Journalist, Aya Ramadan, and the ID card of another journalist, Abdul-Rahman Hassan.
