On Wednesday night, Israeli soldiers invaded the city of Jericho and the nearby Aqabat Jaber and Ein al-Sultan refugee camps in the northeastern West Bank, shooting and injuring three Palestinians, in addition to abducting a young man.
Media sources reported that several military vehicles invaded the city and the two camps, storming and ransacking homes, which triggered widespread protests.
According to eyewitnesses, soldiers shot three young men with live ammunition on Amman Street, located in the center of Jericho, inflicting moderate wounds.
During the incursion, troops closed several streets and intersections, severely restricting Palestinian movement throughout the duration of the operation.
In Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, the soldiers stormed and ransacked a few homes before abducting Hasan Bassam Al-Maqiti.
On Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers abducted several Palestinian children in the town of ar-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.
Also Wednesday, Israeli municipal crews, accompanied by Israeli occupation soldiers, demolished two Palestinian homes belonging to the Burqan family in the Wadi Qaddum area of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
On Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces demolished an under-construction school in Tubas and a residential home in Bethlehem, both located in the occupied West Bank. The army also forced a family out of their home near Jerusalem, in preparation for demolishing the property, and demolished water wells and a spring near Hebron.
Israeli occupation forces demolished four structures in the town of Al-Judeira, north of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank, on Monday, citing lack of construction permits, in addition to delivering demolition orders for three residential buildings in Qalandia, northwest of Jerusalem.
Earlier Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces abducted five Palestinians during invasions across the Hebron and Ramallah governorates in the occupied West Bank.
