On Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces demolished an under-construction school in Tubas and a residential home in Bethlehem, both located in the occupied West Bank. The army also forced a family out of their home near Jerusalem, in preparation for demolishing the property, and demolished water wells and a spring near Hebron.

Azmi Balawna, Director of the Education Directorate in Tubas, stated that multiple Israeli military vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded the village of al-Aqabah, east of Tubas in the northeastern West Bank, and began demolishing the school.

Balawna noted that the school was funded by the French government to provide education for Palestinian children in the area.

He recalled that several months earlier, the army invaded the site, suspended the construction, and confiscated bulldozers and building equipment.

In a separate violation in Bethlehem, Israeli forces invaded Artas village, southwest of the city, and demolished an under-construction home in the Jabal Abu Zeid area.

According to Samir Abu Swai, a member of the Artas Village Council, a large contingent of soldiers isolated the area before demolishing the property.

These latest demolitions are part of a sustained and intensifying pattern of Israeli violations against Palestinians across the occupied West Bank.

In related news, the army invaded Hizma town, north of the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank, and forced a family out of their home to prepare for demolishing it.

Media sources said the soldiers stormed the home of Ahmad Fayez Sbeih, and forced the family out, and added that the family did not receive prior notice.

Update: The family was able to obtain a court order freezing the demolition of their home, after filing an urgent appeal.

It is worth mentioning that the family was preparing for their son’s wedding, which was supposed to be held today.

During the invasion the soldiers assaulted many Palestinian and fired gas bombs, causing scores of residents, including children, women and elderly, to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

In Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, the army invaded the Al-Baha area in the town of ath-Thaheriya, south of the city, and poured concrete in seven wells, and a water spring, in a land owned by Abdullah Abu Sharkh.

In Qalqilia, in the northern West Bank, the army delivered demolition orders of an agricultural room, owned by Abdul-Latif Ra’ey, and the fence surrounding his four-Dunam land.
