On Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers abducted several Palestinian children in the town of ar-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.
Media sources said several military vehicles invaded the town, before the soldiers closed streets, leading to protests.
The soldiers fired many gas bombs, concussion grenades and rubbers-coated steel bullets.
The sources added that the soldiers abducted several children in the town and took them to an interrogation center in the city.
Also in Jerusalem, the Israeli authorities issued an order banning Sheikh Mohammad Hussein, the Mufti of Jerusalem and the Holy Land and the preacher of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque for 6 months.
In related news, the army invaded the town of Anabta, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, on Wednesday night.
Local sources reported that the forces roamed the town’s main streets, obstructing the movement of residents and vehicles. The invasion involved extensive searches, identity checks, and field interrogations targeting young men.
Soldiers also stormed several shops and residential buildings along the Sikka Street, conducting violent searches.
The army also invaded Jericho city, Aqabat Jaber and Ein al-Sultan refugee camps, in Jericho in the northeastern West Bank, before storming and ransacking homes.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the army demolished a coffee shop in Beit Liqya town, west of Ramallah, in the central West Bank.
