Israeli forces fatally shot a Palestinian child and wounded two others on Sunday evening, after invading the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.

In a statement, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced that occupation forces shot and killed 16-year-old Walid Nidal Abu Suneina and injured two other children with live ammunition, after storming the Qalandia refugee camp.

Media sources reported that Israeli forces stormed the Qalandia camp and spread through the streets, firing live rounds at citizens, killing the child Abu Suneina, and wounding two others in the legs.

Quds Press published a video showing occupation soldiers hurling a concussion grenade into a citizen’s vehicle and holding the doors closed during the military incursion into the camp.

Earlier, Israeli forces stormed the nearby town of Kafr Aqab, firing live ammunition and tear gas canisters, and abducting three unidentified young men; no injuries were reported.

Since the beginning of the year, Israeli soldiers and illegal colonizers have killed 75 Palestinians, including 20 children and 5 women in the occupied West Bank.

Among those, 19 were killed in Hebron, 17 in Ramallah, 12 in Nablus, 8 in Jerusalem, 5 in Tubas, 5 in Jenin, 3 in Bethlehem, 2 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, 2 in Qalqilia, 1 in Salfit and 1 in Tulkarem, according to the Shireen Observatory.
