Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of invasions and abductions across the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, storming villages, refugee camps, and towns from Nablus in the north to Bethlehem in the south.
In the northern West Bank, troops invaded the village of Odala, south of Nablus, firing dozens of toxic gas and flares into the sky, causing several residents to suffer from suffocation.
At dawn, six Palestinians were abducted in separate invasions across Nablus governorate. Military vehicles broke into homes in al‑Makhfiyya neighborhood, ransacked their contents, and abducted three brothers—Mohyeddin, Ezzeddin, and Mohammad Tayseer Abdel‑Haq—along with Bassam al‑Qutob.
In Balata refugee camp east of Nablus, soldiers broke into the home of Samih Thiab and abducted him. In Asira al‑Shamaliya, north of Nablus, troops abducted Du’aa Yassin Abdel‑Fattah Jarrar’a after storming her family home.
Furthermore, several Israeli military vehicles invaded Sebastia town, northwest of Ramallah and closed streets.
In Tulkarem, in the northwestern West Bank, occupation forces abducted two residents of Attil—Luay Muhammad Ajaj Salim and Muhammad Anwar Nasser—after breaking into their homes.
In nearby Anabta, soldiers stormed several homes, including those of former political prisoners, subjecting residents to field interrogations and detaining young men for hours before releasing them.
In Kafr al‑Lubbad east of Tulkarem, three farmers, including a six‑year‑old child, were abducted while working their land adjacent to the illegal colony of Avnei Hefetz.
Witnesses identified them as Ala’ Abdul‑Karim Thalthin, Ramzi Na’im Thalthin, and the child Adam Ala’ Thalathini, who were taken to an unknown location.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, occupation forces abducted Majd Mohammad Dakhlallah, 24, after breaking into his home in Beitunia.
Troops also invaded several towns and villages, including Silwad and Surda northeast of Ramallah, Kobar and al‑Mazra’a al‑Gharbiyya northwest of the city, and Burham to the north, breaking into homes and shops and interrogating residents.
Later in the day, soldiers invaded Deir Jarir east of Ramallah, accompanying illegal colonizers who grazed their sheep near Palestinian homes.
In Nabi Saleh, northwest of Ramallah, troops abducted Saddam Barghouthi, 36, after detaining him for two hours at a military roadblock and subjecting him to field interrogation. Soldiers also invaded al‑Mughayyir northeast of Ramallah, patrolling its streets on foot.
In addition, the soldiers closed Atara military roadblock, north of Ramallah, forcing Palestinian vehicles to wait for hours before being allowed through.
In Bethlehem, in the southern West Bank, three men were abducted in al‑Obeidiyya after soldiers broke into and searched their homes. They were identified as Ahmad Ishtaywi al‑Asa, 48, Ayman Mahmoud Abdullah al‑Asa, 42, and Younis Muhammad Safi Hassasna, 35.
These coordinated invasions and abductions reflect the intensifying campaign of repression across the occupied West Bank, targeting Palestinian families in their homes, farmers in their fields, and activists in their communities.
Human rights organizations stress that such actions—breaking into homes, abducting civilians, and protecting illegal colonizers—constitute collective punishment and violate international law, including the Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits the targeting of civilians and the destruction of property in occupied territory.
