Israeli soldiers invaded, on Tuesday evening, Ras al-‘Amoud neighborhood, in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem and kidnapped a young Palestinian man. The army also invaded Hizma and al-‘Isawiyya towns, in Jerusalem, and clashed with dozens of youngsters.
Several army jeeps invaded Ras al-‘Amoud, searched homes and kidnapped a former political prisoner, identified as Abed Ez Barbar.
In addition, the soldiers invaded Hizma town, northeast of Jerusalem, and clashed with dozens of local youths, who hurled stones and empty bottles on the invading army vehicles, while the soldiers fired gas bombs and rubber-coated steel bullets.
Clashes also took place in many neighborhoods in the al-‘Isawiyya town, where the army fired dozens of live round, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs and concussion grenades.
Also on Tuesday evening, Israeli navy ships attacked Palestinian fishing boats near the shore in the Sudaniyya Sea, in Gaza, and abducted two fishers.
Earlier Tuesday, Israeli navy ships opened fire, targeting Palestinian fishing boats, close to the shore in Gaza Sea, and chased several boats back to the shore.
The soldiers also abducted four Palestinians in the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, and Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, and in Hebron city.
