On Sunday evening, a Palestinian man was wounded by Israeli forces in the town of Ar‑Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, while Israeli soldiers abducted five Palestinians in Beit Jala, west of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its crews treated a 42‑year‑old man who was shot in the leg with live ammunition near a section of the illegal Annexation Wall, before transferring him to hospital.

Ar‑Ram has seen repeated injuries in recent weeks as Israeli forces fire live rounds and rubber‑coated metal bullets at residents, particularly young men and laborers moving near the wall, amid heightened restrictions and daily pursuits that endanger their lives.

In a separate incident, Israeli forces abducted five Palestinians in the city of Beit Jala, west of Bethlehem.

Local sources stated that the abductions took place in the Cremisan area, northwest of Beit Jala, and that the identities of the detainees were not yet known.

Also Sunday, Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of invasions, home searches, abductions, school closures, and assaults across the occupied West, targeting communities in Bethlehem, occupied Jerusalem, Hebron, Ramallah, Tubas, Salfit, Jericho, Qalqilia, Tulkarem, and Nablus.
