Israeli forces shot, on Saturday, a Palestinian child after they stormed the village of Salem, east of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

On Saturday night, occupation forces invaded the village of Salem, east of Nablus, triggering protests among local Palestinian youths.

Media sources said that soldiers opened fire with live ammunition, shooting a 16-year-old child in the foot; he was transported to hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, before dawn, several army vehicles stormed the village of Salem, while soldiers surrounded a citizen’s home, and invaded many others in various neighborhoods.

In related news, soldiers invaded the city of Nablus on Saturday afternoon, surrounded a building in the “Khalat al-Amoud” area, and confiscated surveillance camera recordings from a commercial shop in the city.
