On Thursday night, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man after storming the village of Arrana, northeast of Jenin in the northern West Bank, sparking protests.

Media sources said that occupation forces invaded Arrana village, on Thursday night, while soldiers opened fire with live rounds at those who resisted the incursion.

Media sources said that occupation forces shot a young man in the abdomen live rounds, causing moderate wounds; he was transported to the Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin for treatment.

Quds News Network reported that occupation forces also invaded the villages of Faqqu’a and Jalbun, northeast and east of the city.


Additionally, Palestine TV reported that Israeli forces exchanged fire with Palestinian resistance fighters in the village of Silat Ad-Dhahr, southwest of the city.


In related news, the army retreated from the city of Jenin and its refugee camp at dawn Thursday, after a 15-hour-long incursion, resulting in severe destruction to infrastructure, including water, sewage, and electricity networks.

Bashir Matahen, the Director of Public Relations in the Jenin Municipality, told WAFA News Agency that the army destroyed the streets and infrastructure that had been rehabilitated by the Municipality after the most recent and serious incursion from August 28 to September 6.
