Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man, late Tuesday night, in the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank. Also on Tuesday, soldiers shot a Palestinian east of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.
The Mayor of Sebastia, Mohammad Azem, told the WAFA News Agency that a large army force invaded the town with several military vehicles, deployed an infantry force, on Tuesday night.
Azem added that Israeli soldiers invaded many citizens’ homes in Sebastia town, subjected their residents to interrogation and assault, and imposed a curfew on the town.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported a 22-year-old man to the hospital after occupation forces shot him in the chest and back with live ammunition.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday evening, occupation forces invaded Nablus city, in addition to several towns and villages in the governorate.
The WAFA News Agency reported that the army stormed the village of Qaryout and the town of Beita, south of the city, and Beit Furik town, to the southeast.
The same source added that local Palestinians resisted the incursions, while soldiers fired tear gas canisters and concussion grenades; no injuries were reported.
Quds Press reported that occupation forces invaded the city of Nablus on Tuesday evening, and stormed a residential building in the eastern part of the city.
The same source added that an infantry force was deployed in the village of Yatma, south of Nablus; no arrests were reported.
Furthermore, a large army force, including special forces, stormed the Al-Ain refugee camp, in Nablus city, on Tuesday morning.
Media sources said that Israeli special forces infiltrated the Al-Ain refugee camp in several military vehicles, amid the overhead flight of reconnaissance drones; no arrests were reported.
Furthermore, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian man east of Bethlehem, and abducted two others in the town of Al-Khader, southwest of the city, on Tuesday morning.
Media sources said that an occupation soldier shot the citizen, Kifah Ibrahim Khalil, 43, in the leg with live rounds, while he was passing through the “Ash-Ghurab” gate, in Beit Sahour, east of Bethlehem.
The wounded man was subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment, his condition was not known at the time of writing this report.
The sources added that Israeli forces invaded Al-Khader town, stormed and ransacked citizen’s homes, and abducted the young men, Ahmad Ali Al-Masry and Mohammad Masid Salah.
Media sources reported that the army invaded the Deheishe refugee camp, on Tuesday morning, stormed a residential building and positioned sharpshooters on its rooftop; no arrests were reported.
