Israeli soldiers invaded, on Wednesday dawn, several areas in the Nablus governorate, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, shot a young man with live rounds, and abducted three other citizens.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that the soldiers shot an 18-year-old young man in the leg after they invaded the Old Askar refugee camp east of the city

The soldiers invaded the eastern area of the city from the direction of the Awarta military roadblock and stormed the Balata and Old Askar refugee camps, leading to protests during which the soldiers fired live bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

The sources added that several army vehicles invaded neighborhoods in the city, including Ad-Dahiya, Rafidia, Jerusalem Street, the university Street, and Al-Ma’moun Street, and deployed sharpshooters on the rooftops of some residential buildings.

The soldiers also stormed and ransacked many homes and abducted Islam Zubeidi from Al-Ma’moun Street, and Daoud Saleh from the vicinity of Kamal Jumblatt School in Rafidia town.

In addition, the soldiers invaded the village of Qusra, south of Nablus, and the Al-Ein area, stormed and ransacked many homes, causing damage, before abducting a young man, Maher Hassan Odah.

On Tuesday evening, Israeli soldiers shot two Palestinian children and a young man in Qalqilia and Hebron, in the northwestern and southern parts of the occupied West Bank.

On Tuesday afternoon, Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian teenage girl and prevented medics from reaching her until she succumbed to her wounds in Kafr Dan town, west of Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its medics moved the slain child, Lujain Osama Abdul-Rauf Mosleh, 16, to a hospital in Jenin.

On Tuesday evening, two Palestinians were killed after the army surrounded a home and fired live rounds and Enegra shells at it, in the Thannaba Suburb in Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the General Authority of Civil Affairs informed them that the two slain Palestinians are Rami Hatem Mohammad Abbas, 37, and Nour Hasan Zayet, 24.

Earlier Tuesday, Israeli soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian teenage boy and injured his father in the Tulkarem refugee camp, in Tulkarem, in the occupied West Bank’s northwestern part.

Medical sources have confirmed that Israeli army sharpshooters shot the child, Mohammad Abdullah Kanaan, 16, with a live round in the head, and his father, who was walking next to him, in the abdomen.

In Qalqilia, in the northwestern West Bank, the soldiers shot a young man in the thigh after they invaded the city; the wounded Palestinian was moved to a hospital in the city.

Israel has now killed 32 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since last Wednesday: 19 in Jenin, 6 in Tulkarem, 4 in Tubas, and 3 in Hebron, bringing the number of slain Palestinians in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, to 685.

In the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army continued its aggression, by land, sea and air, on the coastal enclave,  since October 7, 2023, which has resulted in the killing of at least 40,786 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 94,224 others, in an incomplete toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them.

Among the slain Palestinians are at least 16,589 children, 11,207 women, 182 journalists and 23 emergency responders, 885 medical staff, 82 Civil Defense staff, and 203 UNRWA staff.

Most experts estimate the death toll is much higher – and could be as high as 200,000, when counting both direct and indirect deaths related to the Israeli war on Gaza that began October 7, 2023.
