Israeli forces shot, on Wednesday, a Palestinian young man, before abducting him inside of Israel, in addition to seven others, including a former prisoner, in the governorates of Qalqilia, Jenin, and occupied Jerusalem.

Occupation forces shot a Palestinian young man, on Wednesday, before abducting him from his workplace inside of Israel.

According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Tubas, Israeli forces shot and abducted a citizen of the Tubas governorate, in the northeastern part of the West Bank.

Odeh added that Israeli forces shot the young man, Mahab Ahmad Abu Arra, 26, with a live round in the shoulder and abducted him while he was at his workplace inside of Israel.

Palestine TV published a video showing that occupation forces abducted three unidentified Palestinian young men in the city of Qalqilia, in the northwestern part of the West Bank.


Meanwhile, at dawn Wednesday, occupation forces invaded several areas in the Jenin governorate, in the northern West Bank, and abducted three Palestinian young men.

Media sources said that soldiers abducted the young man, Madin Hossam Maali, after invading and searching his home in the village of Ajjah, southwest of Jenin.

Sources added that the army stormed and searched the home of Hammam Ayman Saabneh, before abducting him in the nearby village of Fahma.

Occupation forces also broke into the home of the citizen, Mahmoud Ghaleb Amarneh, in the village of Umm Dar, west of the city, and interrogated the residents.

The army invaded several towns and villages in the Jenin governorate, including Arraba and Jaba’, southwest of the city, in addition to Faqqu’a and ‘Arabbuna, northeast of the city, and conducted a large-scale search campaign.

Furthermore, Israeli forces abducted two Palestinian citizens, including a former prisoner, in the town of Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.

Media sources said that on Wednesday morning, soldiers invaded and searched the homes of the former prisoner, Ahmad Mohammad Fouad Al-Khatib, and the young man, Mohammad Hani Kanaan, before abducting them.

According to a statement from the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) and the Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs, at least twenty Palestinian citizens were abducted by occupation forces between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.

The statement added that the total number of abductions since October 7, 2023 has reached more than 9,510, including those who were abducted from their homes, through military roadblocks, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
