Israeli forces shot six Palestinian young men, on Thursday, and damaged infrastructure and citizens’ property, after invading the northern West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp.

On Thursday afternoon, Israeli forces stormed the city of Jenin from several entrances, shot and injured six Palestinian young men, and caused the destruction of infrastructure and citizens’ property.

Media sources said that a large army force, including a military bulldozer, invaded the city of Jenin and its camp, deployed sharpshooters on rooftops, while reconnaissance drones hovered overhead.

During the incursion, armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the attacking army, and detonated crude explosive devices targeting military vehicles.

Occupation forces shot and injured six Palestinian young men with live rounds, including at least one who sustained a moderate gunshot wound to the thigh; they were all transported to hospitals in the city.

The army positioned soldiers in the vicinity of the Ibn Sina, Al-Amal, and Jenin Government Hospitals, while a curfew was imposed on the camp.

Military bulldozers proceeded to cause destruction to vital infrastructure, including streets in the city and its camp, destroying at least one citizen’s vehicle.

For its part, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades resistance group confirmed that its members “engaged in an armed clash with the occupation forces in the city of Jenin,” and added that, “We targeted them with bullets and explosive devices.”

Meanwhile, in the evening, occupation forces withdrew from the city, and abducted a young man from the town of Burqin, west of the city.

Media sources said that the army invaded the home of the young man, Mohammad al-Masry, before abducting him.

In related news, the occupation army invaded, on Thursday morning, the villages of Faqqu’a and Jalboun, northeast and east of Jenin, accompanied by a military bulldozer, and conducted a wide-scale search operation.

Later it was reported that soldiers abducted Abdullah Abdul Karim Athamna, after storming his home in the village of Faqqu’a, while a bulldozer destroyed a citizen’s vehicle and an agricultural structure in the village.

It is important to mention that Israeli police abducted Amir Muhammad Zaid al-Kilani, a citizen of Ya’bad town, west of Jenin, while he was present inside of the state of Israel.

In related news, Israeli forces shot and killed the young man, Wajih Al-Ramahi, 20, and shot four others, on Thursday afternoon, in the central West Bank city of Al-Biereh, in addition to shooting a young man in the city of Ramallah before dawn.
