A child was injured by live fire from Israeli forces on Thursday night in the southern part of Hebron in the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said Israeli soldiers, stationed at the Al-Kasara intersection in the southern area, fired live bullets at a child, causing injuries to his leg.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its teams treated a 16-year-old child with a gunshot wound to the leg in the southern part of Hebron and transferred him to the hospital, where his injury was described as mild.

The child was injured after many military vehicles invaded the area and closed streets, leading to protests.

In related news, the army invaded the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, and closed the Shurafa and Matina areas at its eastern entrance, in addition to closing the main street and forcing the shops to close, leading to protests.

They fired live rounds and tear gas bombs, closed the main street and shops, and prevented the movement of vehicles.
