Israeli forces carried out several attacks across the Gaza Strip on Friday, including the shooting of a Palestinian child east of Gaza City, along with continued shelling and gunfire in multiple areas, further compounding the already severe humanitarian crisis.

A child was injured after an Israeli military drone opened fire toward civilians in the Mahatta area of the at‑Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Witnesses said the drone fired live rounds without warning, striking the child, who was transferred to a nearby medical point for treatment.

Throughout the day, residents in central Gaza reported intermittent Israeli tank shelling east of Deir al‑Balah and al‑Bureij.

Several homes were damaged, and ambulance crews said they received repeated calls for assistance but were unable to reach some areas due to ongoing Israeli fire.

Gunfire was also reported along the eastern perimeter of Gaza City, particularly in the Shuja’iyya and Juhor al‑Deek areas, where Israeli forces opened fire toward civilians and agricultural lands.

Medical teams said they were forced to halt movement in several locations because of the shooting, leaving families without access to emergency care.

In northern Gaza, civil defense teams said they were able to reach only a small number of destroyed homes due to the continued presence of Israeli forces and the risk of renewed fire.

Several missing persons remain unaccounted for in Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia, where rescue crews have been unable to operate safely.

In the south, residents east of Khan Younis reported sporadic Israeli drone fire toward agricultural areas, while explosions were heard in western Rafah as a result of Israeli naval fire off the coast. Homes near the shoreline sustained damage, though no casualties were confirmed.

Humanitarian conditions continued to deteriorate across the Strip. UNRWA reiterated that access to northern Gaza remains severely restricted, preventing food, medical supplies, and fuel from reaching tens of thousands of civilians.

Hospitals are operating with minimal fuel reserves, limited surgical capacity, and severe shortages of essential medicines.

At dawn Friday, Israeli occupation forces continued their violations of the “ceasefire” agreement for the 239th consecutive day across the Gaza Strip, where a Palestinian woman was killed, and two men died from wounds sustained earlier, while 16 others were injured in an Israeli attack southwest of Khan Younis.

Since the “ceasefire” began on October 11, 2025, the total number of Palestinians killed has risen to 947, in addition to 2,935 wounded, while 781 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.

Israel has now killed at least 72,956 Palestinians, and injured more than 173,043, in several parts of the devastated and besieged Gaza Strip.

Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians are now living in tents and improvised shelters across the Gaza Strip after Israeli attacks destroyed their homes or rendered them structurally uninhabitable. This has forced repeated displacement, pushing families into areas that lack even the most basic conditions required for survival.
