On Monday, illegal Israeli colonizers assaulted and pepper-sprayed an elderly man, near the town of Huwwara, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that its crews transported a 62-year-old citizen to the Ibn Sina Emergency Center in Huwwara.

The PRCS added that Israeli settlers assaulted and pepper-sprayed the man, on Monday evening.

Meanwhile, the army invaded the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus, and abducted a young man after storming several homes.

Media sources said that occupation soldiers invaded the village on Monday evening, stormed and searched several citizens’ homes, before abducting the citizen, Tamer Riyad Saif.

In related news, Israeli forces invaded the towns of Arraba, Fahma, Kafr Ra’i, in addition to the village of Jalboun, in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin.

Media sources said that on Monday night, occupation forces invaded the town of Fahma, and spread throughout several neighborhoods, sparking protests.

Sources added that soldiers removed the gate of the house of the citizen, Mohammad Jamil Sa’abneh and threw a concussion grenade inside, causing fear and panic.

Earlier Monday, Israeli forces abducted the young man, Raafat Hafzi Muhammad Freihat, 35, a resident of Jenin, after he was summoned for an intelligence review at the Salem military camp, northwest of the city.
