Illegal Israeli colonizers carried out several attacks against Palestinian citizens and their property, on Saturday, in the central and southern parts of the occupied West Bank.

Late Saturday night, dozens of illegal Israeli colonizers invaded the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.

Marwan Sabah, the head of Umm Safa village council, told WAFA News Agency that dozens of armed paramilitary settlers stormed the village of Umm Safa, and opened fire at citizens’ homes.

Sabah added that occupation soldiers were present during the settler invasion and said that two young men suffered various injuries when they tried to escape from the attack; they were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, in the southern West Bank, a group of illegal colonizers invaded the “Khalayel Al-Loz” area, southeast of Bethlehem, and grazed their livestock on Palestinian citizens’ lands.

Local citizen, Mahmoud Ibrahim Suwais, told WAFA that a group of Israeli settlers stormed the area on Saturday evening, and grazed their sheep on citizens’ lands under the protection of occupation forces; residents confronted the colonizers forcing them away.

Suwais added that Israeli soldiers opened fire with live ammunition and tear gas canisters at citizens, causing several people to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.

He also stated that the colonizers surrounded several citizens’ homes, causing fear and terror among the women and children.

Furthermore, dozens of armed paramilitary colonizers stormed, on Saturday, the Old City of Hebron, in the southern West Bank, under the protection of Israeli forces.

Media sources said that dozens of armed settlers invaded the vicinity of the Ibrahimi Mosque and carried out a provocative march, roaming the streets and alleys of the Old City, chanting racist phrases such as, “Death to Arabs.”

Occupation forces obstructed the movement of Palestinian citizens, and closed several roads leading to the area, in order to secure the area.
