Illegal Israeli colonizers killed a Palestinian young man on Wednesday, while occupation soldiers conducted a large-scale abduction campaign in the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
Medical sources at the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, reported that the young man Odah Atef Odah Awawda, 25, died shortly after his arrival to the hospital, as a result of a live gunshot wound to the back.
Media sources said that a large number of armed paramilitary settlers infiltrated the outskirts of Deir Dibwan, firing live rounds at Palestinian citizens, critically injuring Awawda.
A simultaneous operation was carried out by the army coinciding with the settler invasion, as occupation soldiers stormed the town and closed the bridge at its entrance, preventing locals from entering or leaving.
Israeli forces invaded the town and abducted at least 30 unidentified young men, taking them to an unknown location.
On Tuesday, Israeli colonizers killed the student Aws Hamdi Al-Na’san, 13, and the young man Jihad Marzouq Abu Naim, 35, and injured four others with live rounds during an attack on the Al-Mughayyir Boys’ School in Al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah.

Also on Tuesday, the child Mohammad Majdi Ahmad Al-Ja’bari, 15, was killed on Tuesday after a settler’s vehicle struck him north of Hebron, and Mrs. Raja Fadl Bitawi, 47, succumbed to injuries she sustained in the Jenin refugee camp in 2023.
Since the beginning of the Israeli military aggression against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, occupation forces and settlers have killed 1156 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 240 children and 29 women.
In the Jenin governorate, 312 Palestinians have been killed, while 213 were killed in Tulkarem, 148 in Nablus, 118 in Hebron, 103 in Tubas, 91 in Ramallah, 67 in Jerusalem, 44 in Qalqilia, 37 in Bethlehem, 15 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, and 8 in Salfit, according to the Shireen Observatory.
In related news, the army stormed the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, during the funeral procession for the two Palestinians killed on Tuesday by illegal settlers.
Media sources reported that occupation forces invaded the village and fired live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades at mourners; there were no reports of injuries.
