The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza released its daily statistical update on the human toll resulting from the ongoing Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip. The figures reflect the continued impact on civilians despite the declared “ceasefire “of October 11, 2025, as emergency teams remain unable to reach many affected areas.

Casualties in the Last 24 Hours

Hospitals across the Gaza Strip received 3 Palestinians killed and 15 others injured during the past 24 hours.

A Palestinian woman and a child were killed on Tuesday evening in separate incidents across the Gaza Strip, according to field reports and medical sources.

The woman was shot and killed by Israeli forces near the Shawwa area in the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

She succumbed to her wounds shortly after being struck by live fire in an area that has witnessed repeated Israeli military activity and restricted access for ambulances.

Mohammad Shehada Abu Hadayed, a young child from Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, died from injuries he sustained several days ago in an Israeli bombardment targeting the Al‑Mawasi area, west of the city.

Medical officials noted that these numbers represent only the cases that reached medical facilities and do not account for those still trapped in inaccessible areas.

Medical teams confirmed that the child had been receiving treatment for critical wounds but could not survive the severity of the injuries.

Victims Under the Rubble

According to the Ministry, an unknown number of victims remain beneath collapsed buildings and in open areas, where emergency crews are unable to operate due to ongoing restrictions, destroyed infrastructure, and the absence of safe access routes.

Ambulance and Civil Defense teams continue to report severe operational challenges, leaving many families without information about missing relatives.

Casualties Since the “Ceasefire” of October 11, 2025

Despite the “ceasefire” announcement, Israeli military actions and their consequences have continued to claim lives. Since 11 October:

  • Total killed: 529
  • Total injured: 1,462
  • Bodies recovered from destroyed areas: 717

These figures highlight the scale of destruction and the prolonged difficulty in retrieving victims from heavily damaged neighborhoods.

Cumulative Toll Since October 7, 2023

The Ministry reiterated the broader humanitarian catastrophe with the following cumulative totals:

  • Total Palestinians killed: 71,803
  • Total Palestinians injured: 171,570

These numbers reflect the unprecedented scale of civilian harm, widespread displacement, and the collapse of essential services across the Gaza Strip.

Health officials warn that the actual toll is likely higher, as thousands of people remain missing, many presumed to be under the rubble of destroyed homes or in areas unreachable due to the collapse of roads, continued military presence, or lack of equipment.

The Ministry continues to call for unrestricted access for emergency crews and international support to address the overwhelming humanitarian needs.
