On Tuesday, Day 109 of the Israeli onslaught, the Israeli army continued the bombing of various parts of the devastated Gaza Strip, killing dozens of Palestinians and wounding hundreds, especially in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

In Jabalia, in northern Gaza, the army fired a missile at a home in the city, killing at least seven Palestinians, mostly women, and wounding many others.

Medical sources said the army fired a missile at a home for the Zamel family, killing Dua’, Mahmoud, Mariam, Ali, Suad, Nour, and Farima Zamel and wounding many others.

In the Nusseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, the army fired a missile at home in the Al-Hasayna area, killing three Palestinians and wounding several others; most of the casualties were women and children.

In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army killed a young man and injured many others after firing a missile at them west of the city.

The army also killed many Palestinians and injured dozens after firing a missile near the shore of Khan Younis and fired many artillery shells at various areas west of Khan Younis, especially near Nasser Hospital, causing many casualties.

The number of Palestinians who were killed by Israeli missiles and shells in Khan Younis alone, on Tuesday, is more than 40, largely women and children, in addition to the dozens of casualties who remain under the rubble and in the streets.

In addition, the army injured many Palestinians after firing a missile at their car west of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

The army also fired many live rounds directly at the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis and bombed surrounding areas.

The army also fired many artillery shells at parks where dozens of families sheltered on the Haron Ar-Rashid Coastal Road, wert of Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis, killing four Palestinians, including one child, and wounding many others before they were moved to Abu Yousef Najjar Hospital in nearby Rafah city.

In addition, Israeli tanks remain surrounding the buildings of Al-Aqsa University, west of Khan Younis, blocking the way of ambulances and medical teams, while the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said it is trying to clear the rubble from streets leading to the Al-Amal Hospital in the city.

In Gaza City, medical sources at the Shifa Hospital said it received the corpses of twenty Palestinians who were killed by Israeli missiles in the western part of the city, especially after the army bombarded dozens of homes and infrastructure and added that more casualties remain under the rubble.

On its part, the Israeli army announced what was called “the deadliest day” for its soldiers in Gaza since the ground offensive began, with 24 soldiers killed in one day.

According to Al-Jazeera English, the revised death toll in Israel from the October 7 stands at 1,139, mostly soldiers.  The number of soldiers who were killed in Gaza since the ground offensive on October 27, is 221, as declared by Israel.

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres said there is no excuse for collective punishment against the entire Palestinian population and added that the Gaza Strip is facing unprecedented massive destruction.

Guterres stated that the Palestinians in Gaza face extreme hunger and that all human rights organizations are struggling to send humanitarian aid to Gaza but are facing numerous challenges and justifiable refusals by the Israeli army.

He added that dozens of humanitarian workers are still waiting for permits from Israel to enter Gaza.

The UN official also said that the constant Israeli refusal to establish a Palestinian state is prolonging the suffering and the deadly conflict.

The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics and the Health Ministry said Israel has now killed at least 25.490 Palestinians, including 12.345 children, 7.500 women, 337 medical workers, 119 journalists, 231 Palestinians working in the education sector, 152 UNRWA workers, 45 first responders, injured more than 63.000, mostly women and children.

More than 7000 Palestinians, including 4700 children, remain missing, largely killed on streets and buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings in several parts of the Gaza Strip.
