The army fired a missile at a car inside the yard of the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, in the eastern area of Gaza City, killing and wounding many Palestinians.

The missiles also injured many Palestinians who were near the car, including several children and women.

Al-Jazeera News Agency said its correspondent, Ismail Abu Omar, who was injured Tuesday after an Israeli army drone fired a missile into an area, north of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, suffered a serious health deterioration.

It added that the surgeons at the European Hospital, southeast of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, have determined that he needs surgery to stop the bleeding, and added that Ismael also requires many units of blood.

The Israeli missile also caused Omar to lose his right leg, various injuries to his left leg above the knee, and several parts of his body.

A surgeon at the medical facility told Al-Jazeera that Ismael’s condition is critical and that the doctors are facing numerous difficulties in treating him, especially due to the lack of medical supplies as a result of the continued Israeli bombing and the siege.

Al-Jazeera added that cameraman Ahmad Matar, who was injured in the attack is also in a serious condition at the Intensive Care Unit. Matar underwent surgery to remove shrapnel from his head.

At least six Palestinians, including children were killed and 25 were injured, some seriously, when the army fired missiles and shells at a residential bloc in the Nusseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza.

The army also bombarded and destroyed many homes and buildings in Gaza City, especially in its western parts, causing massive destruction and many casualties.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli army killed Palestinian political analyst Dr. Ayman al-Rafati in a targeted airstrike in Gaza. Dr. Rafati was interviewed by Al-Jazeera the night before.
