In Jabalia, in northern Gaza, the army carried out many air strikes targeting the Hammouda Junction area, east of the city, killing at least three Palestinians and wounding ten.

The Al-Jazeera news agency said the army fired missiles and shells at various parts of Jabalia, and the Nusseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, including many children.

Al-Jazeera added that the attack came just hours after the army killed 23 Palestinians who were part of tribal committees that were trying to distribute humanitarian aid at the Kuwait Junction in Gaza City.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the army committed ten massacres against Palestinian families in 24 hours, killing 104 and wounding 162, mainly women and children.

The United Nations warned that the lives of more than 2 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are at risk, while the World Food Program warned of famine.

The European Union’s foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said Israel is using starvation in Gaza as a weapon of war.

Al-Jazeera English interviewed Dr. Nick Maynard, a consultant surgeon who was recently volunteering in Gaza, who said: “I have witnessed the worst cases in my career of thirty years, at the Al-Aqsa Hospital,” in Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza.

Dr. Maynard told Al-Jazeera that “so many clinical injuries, mostly children and women, and added that they have “terrible burns, traumatic wounds and no real room to deal with these tragic cases.”

Britain’s Foreign Office announced that more than 2.000 tons of UK-funded food is planned to be delivered by the World Food Program, adding that that aid can feed about 275.000 Palestinians. More than 2 Million Palestinians have been displaced across the coastal enclave.

The Foreign Office also said that it provided UNICEF 150 tons of assistance, including tents and blankets, to distribute in the Gaza Strip.

David Cameron, the UK’s Foreign Secretary, said humanitarian access is urgently needed to get more aid in the Gaza Strip, and alleged that his country continues to push Israel to open more crossings and for longer periods to allow the entry of humanitarian aid, including medicine, and that the UK wants healthcare, water, and sanitation to be restored in the devastated coastal enclave.

Israel has now killed at least 31.623 Palestinians and injured more than 74.096, mostly women, children, and the elderly, in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, in addition to the thousands who remain missing, largely buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings, and in alleys, in various parts of the destroyed coastal enclave.
